Social Democrat Cosmin Durle, Dolj’s deputy elected in the December 6 elections, resigned to remain the county’s public administrator.

Durle told AGERPRES that he made this decision because he wants to continue the projects that he started in the Dolj County Council.

“I was in the Dolj City Council for three years, and during this period I started many projects and at this time, it seemed better to me, being young, to finish all the started projects, together with the current President of the Dolj City Council, Cosmin Vasile, this also determined me to elect the CJ, I stayed in the CJ, because there are many projects and I think it would be more useful here. I discovered that many problems can be solved in the County Council and then I said that if I am elected deputy, I will think if I will go to Parliament or I will stay with the mayors, along with the county administration, or I will go to Parliament. I decided that I was more useful in the CJ, “said Cosmin Durle.

Cosmin Durle ran for fifth place in the Chamber of Deputies on the PSD Dolj list. Alina Tanasescu, who is in her second term as a deputy, will go to Parliament in her place.

PSD obtained in Dolj 5 deputies and 2 senators.
