Coronavirus Romania, September 5. As of Saturday, September 5, 93,864 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus and 3,850 deaths had been confirmed.

The following tests performed at the national level were recorded, compared to the last report on Friday, September 4 1,269 new cases of people infected with the new coronavirus, after performing 22,380 tests.
At Bucharest, the number of new cases registered in the last 24 hours reached 352, the highest in the entire country.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,237. Of these, 476 are hospitalized in ATI.

“To date, on September 5, in Romania, 93,864 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.
40,028 patients were declared cured and 12,123 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.
Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 1,269 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.
To date, 3,850 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.
Between 04.09.2020 (10:00) – 05.09.2020 (10:00) there were 38 deaths (28 men and 10 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Brăila , Brașov, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Galați, Ialomița, Mureș, Neamț, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 2 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 3 deaths were recorded in the age category 50 to 59 years, 12 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 9 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 11 deaths in the category over 80 years.
35 of the registered deaths were of patients who presented comorbidities and 3 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.

To date, 1,923,620 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 22,380 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 13,081 according to case definition and medical protocol and 9,299 on request.
In Romania, 9,701 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated at home and 5,975 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 35,177 people are in home quarantine and 45 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 1,013 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 521 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55 of 05.15.2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 607 sanctions for contravention, worth 133,990 lei.
Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday a crime was found for frustrating the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 of the Penal Code “.
By Friday, September 4, in Romania, 92,595 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) were confirmed. 39,626 patients were declared cured and 11,868 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.
Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 1,339 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.
Apart from newly confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 534 people were positively reconfirmed.
