Coronavirus Romania, September 24. Bucharest (281 cases) and the counties of Galaţi (83), Bacău (82), Constanţa (82) and Iaşi (77) are the areas with the newest confirmed coronavirus cases compared to the latest report.
The fewest cases were recorded in the counties of Mehedinţi (3), Sălaj (7), Ialomiţa (8) and Călăraşi (8).

1,639 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were reported, compared to the last report, following tests conducted at the national level.
Counties most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic
Most of the cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection, registered so far, are in Bucharest – 15,886 and in the counties of Suceava – 6,336, Brasov – 5,721, Prahova – 5,471 and Arges – 5,433, reports Thursday the Group of Strategic Communication (GCS).
More than 4,000 diseases were recorded in the counties of Iaşi, Bacău and Galaţi, more than 3,000 in the counties of Bihor, Cluj, Dâmboviţa, Timiş, and more than 2,000 cases are in the counties of Arad, Brăila, Buzău, Constanţa, Dolj , Hunedoara, Ilfov, Neamţ, Sibiu, Vaslui, Vrancea, Vâlcea.

Constance: 82 cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours, a record since the start of the pandemic
There have been 82 cases of COVID-19 in Constanza County in the last 24 hours, this being the highest number since the start of the pandemic, 23 of them in three outbreaks, one of which in a company in the port of Constance.
“With respect to the high number of cases registered in the last 24 hours in Constanza County, 23 new cases are registered in three outbreaks in progress, in two economic agents and in a community service center. Of the three outbreaks, the most numerous were in a Turkish company operating in the port of Constance. 17 employees, Turkish citizens, were confirmed with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. At this time, the 17 foreign citizens, asymptomatic, are isolated in a building in the Port of Constanza Sud-Agigea, where they will stay for the next 14 days and will be monitored by medical personnel ”, a statement from the Prefecture of Constanza shows.
The cited source mentioned that another eight cases come from family outbreaks, and the other cases are isolated or with family transmission, but without an established outbreak.
Likewise, the Prefecture specified that these cases come from the entire municipality and, to a large extent, are asymptomatic patients.
“In the case of large outbreaks, the three mentioned above, nebulization and disinfection were ordered. The epidemiological acquisitions of DSP Constanţa are in progress, in order to identify the contacts and issue the necessary decisions ”, mentioned the Prefecture of Constanţa.
