Coronavirus Romania, September 15. In Romania, 105,298 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) were confirmed.

Monday’s balance was low, due to the small number of tests performed. 692 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed out of 7,331 tests carried out in 24 hours.

After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 1,111 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.

Unlike the newly confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 591 people were positively reconfirmed.

Between 14.09.2020 (10:00) and 15.09.2020 (10:00) were recorded 51 deaths (28 men and 23 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Bihor, Botoșani, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Giurgiu, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș , Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Suceava, Timiș, Vâlcea, Vaslui and Bucharest.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55 of 05.15.2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 404 sanctions for contravention, for a value of 54,450 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 4 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

According to Monday’s balance, five counties reported no new cases of Covid-19 infection.
