After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 3,517 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.
Distinguished from newly confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 571 people were positively reconfirmed.
To Saturday, 5,358 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection died.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 8,854 Of these, 629 are hospitalized in ATI.

Most of the SARS-CoV-2 infection cases recorded so far in Romania are found in Bucharest (21,998) and in the counties of Suceava (7,166), Brasov (6,840), Prahova (6,783) and Iasi (6,502).
More than 5,000 illnesses were recorded in Argeş counties – 5,767 and Bacău – 5,549, more than 4,000 cases in Galaţi – 4,840, Timiş – 4,825, Dâmboviţa – 4,550, Cluj – 4,332, Neamţ – 4,046, Bihor – 4,011 and more than 3,000 in Arad, Buzau, Constanta, Dolj, Ilfov and Vaslui counties
