Coronavirus Romania, balance sheet November 28. To date, on November 28, in Romania, 465,982 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

335,764 patients were declared cured.

After the tests carried out at the national level, with respect to the last report, 8,134 cases were registered of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.

Aside from the recently confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 1,298 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 11,045 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 27.11.2020 (10:00) – 28.11.2020 (10:00) 161 deaths were reported (94 men and 67 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Bihor, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța hospitals , Covasna, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 1 death in the age category 40 to 49 years, 16 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 40 deaths in the age category of age 60 to 69 years, 56 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 47 deaths in the category over 80 years.

151 of the registered deaths were of some patients who presented comorbidities and 10 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 13,040. Of these, 1,249 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 4,081,557 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 33,021 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 20,669 based on case definition and medical protocol and 12,352 on request.

In Romania, 46,389 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 11,952 people are institutionalized. Additionally, 70,150 people are in home quarantine and 62 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
