To date, on November 7, in the territory of Romania, 296,999 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
201,114 patients were declared cured.
Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 9,937 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test. The county breakdown of the total and new cases can be found in the table below.

* Regarding the “new cases not assigned by region”, we specify that their number is determined by the changes introduced in the electronic platform through which the results of the tests for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the test centers directly enter the results of the tests carried out, and the epidemiological investigation will be carried out at the level of the Public Health Directorates and positive cases will be assigned to the region / locality to which the infected people.
Coefficient of infections accumulated during 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants
The coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the municipal and county levels of Bucharest.
According to GCS, the highest incidence rate, 6.49 per thousand inhabitants, is registered in Sălaj. The next place is Cluj County, with an incidence of 6.15 per thousand inhabitants.
With the exception of Dolj, all other counties with an incidence rate of more than 3 per thousand are Transylvania and Banat.
