Until today, May 15, in Romanian territory, they were confirmed 16,437 cases of people infected with the COVID virus – 19 (Coronavirus). Of the confirmed positive people, 9,370 were declared cured and graduated.
However, So far, 1056 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection, hospitalized in hospitals in Dolj, Bucharest, Iaşi, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timiş, Cluj, Neamţ, Hunedoara, Constanţa, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomiţa, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Vrancea, Galaţi, Caraş -Mura, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeş, Vaslui, Botoşani, Alba, Sălaj, Braşov, Mehedinţi, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Călăraşi, Maramureş, Olt and Ilfov died.
Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 190 new cases of disease have been registered.
At ATI, right now, 219 patients are hospitalized.
In the Romanian territory, there are 14,441 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 14,791 people are in solitary confinement at home and under medical supervision.
To date, at the national level, 294,601 tests were processed.
In the last 24 hours, 364 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 3,798 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), specially opened to inform citizens.
Through the empowered structures of the M.A.I. So far 578 criminal cases have been drafted, under the aspect of committing the crime of frustrating the fight against diseases, a fact provided for and punished by art. 352 par. 1 Penal Code.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, according to information obtained by Romanian diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad, 2,887 Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1,698 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 29 in France, 453 in Germany, 86 in the United Kingdom, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA. USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil and Sweden. Since the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and until now, 103 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 34 in Great Britain, 8 in Spain, 5 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States and one in Brazil, have died.
Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 22 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 9 in France, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
