To date, on September 18, in Romania, 110,217 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
88,235 patients were declared cured.
Note: The figure represents the total number of people cured since the beginning of the pandemic and resulted from the review and update of data by the Ministry of Health and the CNCCI.
After tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 1,527 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test. The county breakdown of total and new cases can be found in the following table.

- Bucharest – 171 cases
- Iasi – 91 cases
- Dolj- 77 cases
- Cluj- 68 cases

- Buzau, Giurgiu – 16 cases
