Almost a fifth of the new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours have been registered in Bucharest, which continues to report more cases in the country, more than 1,000. On the other hand, the contagion rate per thousand inhabitants has fallen below 7. At the opposite pole, there is a municipality that has reported fewer than 10 new infections.
Apart from Bucharest (6.89), there are two other counties where the incidence of infections per thousand inhabitants exceeds the threshold of 6: Constanța (6.76) and Ilfov (6.75). Cluj has a rate of 5.1, Brasov 4.4 and the rest below 4.
There are also six “green” counties, where the infection rate is less than 1.5: Gorj, Harghita, Neamț, Olt, Sălaj and Suceava.
In terms of the number of reported infections, Bucharest still has the highest number (1,156), followed by Constanța, Ilfov, Timiș counties.
