For 16 weeks, two groups of healthy postmenopausal women took 85 g and 250 g of mango. After this period, the complexions of one group visibly changed for the better. In the group that consumed 250 g, the result did not live up to expectations.

Therefore, postmenopausal women who have used 85 grams of mango four times a week showed a 23% reduction in wrinkles after two months and a 20% reduction after four months. “This is a significant improvement in the skin,” said Vivien Fam, lead author of the UC Davis Department of Nutrition.
