Former Deputy Secretary General of the PSD, Codrin Ștefănescu, said on his Facebook page on Monday that he visited Liviu Dragnea in prison and offers details on the situation of the former leader of the Social Democratic Party.
Ştefănescu claims that Liviu Dragnea is being punished in prison after the interview with his former counselor, Anca Alexandrescu.
“Announcement for PSD members, supporters and sympathizers! Today I visited Liviu Dragnea! Our leader forgotten by Ciolacu and his team of SRI academics, temporarily in charge of the party. The former deputy secretary general of the PSD also accuses that Dragnea is not allowed to have surgery, in the context in which he would have serious medical problems.

He is a strong man, he does not cry, he does not scream! But what happens to him is inadmissible! The system is afraid of him, we know it! On May 27, 2019 Liviu Dragnea was definitively sentenced by the Supreme Court to 3 years and 6 months in prison with execution for instigating abuse of office in the fictitious employment case at DGASPC Teleorman.
