USR-PLUS co-chair Dacian Cioloș says Romanian state institutions must urgently notify each other, identify and investigate “inconceivable” threats against actress Maia Morgenstern.
In a message posted on Facebook Saturday night, Cioloș says that the message with unreserved anti-Semitic threats directed at actress Maia Morgenstern and the Jewish State Theater cannot remain without criminal consequences for the author or authors.
- “I am shocked by the violence of the language, the extremist attitude, the ethnic-religious intolerance and the racism of the letter made public by Mrs. Maia Morgenstern. I thought that we had all learned the lessons of history and that this is a closed chapter .
- Romanian state institutions must urgently notify each other, identify and investigate these inconceivable threats. I am with Maia, the Jewish theater and all those who felt threatened by this reprehensible event ”, writes Dacian Cioloș.
