Marcel Ciolacu asked Gabriela Firea to convince Petre Roman, Dumitru Dragomir and Anghel Iordănescu to remove themselves from the list of general councilors elected on the PSD list, Social Democratic sources told HotNews.ro.
So far, only Petre Román would have been willing to make this gesture, the same sources said.
In the General Council of Bucharest, PSD won 21 seats, USR-Plus – 17, PNL – 12, PMP – 5.
In CGMB PNL and USR-Plus together they have 29 mandates of 55, that is, a simple majority. Even if it entered into a local alliance with the PMP (5 seats), it would still not be possible to obtain a qualified majority (2/3 = 37 votes) as it would have a total of only 34 votes.
