A Chinese woman accused of killing seven people was tried in southeast China after she managed to hide for more than 20 years, CNN reports.

Lao was arrested in November last year at a shopping mall in the southeastern city of Xiamen, and was charged with murder, robbery and kidnapping, according to Chinese authorities.
