The Government is preparing an emergency ordinance (GEO) by which it will grant each child who joins a sports club, in order to practice high-performance sports, a bonus worth 300 lei.
More precisely, we want to encourage children born between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2014 to practice sports, and the 300 lei voucher can be used exclusively for the purchase of sports equipment.
To participate in the program, sports clubs must:
– possess a sports identity certificate;
– be affiliated with the national sports federation, depending on the sport;
– the respective federation to be recognized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
As for the real term in which the registration must take place, this will be between the moment the GEO enters into force (uncertain aspect, at this time) and November 30.
Once received, the coupon cannot be sent and must be used within six months of printing.
Important! Coupons can only be used in affiliated units (certain sports stores, for example), which will be selected by the coupon issuing units (in turn, selected by the Ministry of Public Finance).
The GEO project will be applied only if the Executive approves it and only after the approved normative act appears in the Official Gazette.
