DSU published on the national platform to train the population fiipregatit.ro a series of answers to the questions raised by the population during the Easter holidays. People are advised to spend Easter responsibly, avoid traveling with family members, and are advised that picnic outings are prohibited.
Here are the questions and answers posted by DSU.
“All measures taken during this period are only to protect you and your loved ones. The elderly are a vulnerable category, with an increased risk of death: if you are asymptomatic but still infected, you can unknowingly infect them.
Can I attend the Church’s Resurrection service?
No. This year, the services of Holy Week (of the Holy Passion) and Easter will be carried out only by the ministers of the church, without the participation of the faithful, broadcast on television channels and the Internet. See the recommendations of the Romanian Patriarchate
Can I listen to the service on the street or in my own car in front of the church?
No. Listening to work is not a justified reason to move out of the house according to your own responsibility statement, and gathering several people on the street increases the risk of infection and is a violation of the provisions of Military Ordinance No. 2 and 4.
Can I go get the blessed bread (Easter) and the Holy Light from the church?
No. These will be distributed, upon request, in the home of the faithful of all the parishes by the administrative staff and a maximum of 5 volunteers, as follows:
– The Blessed Bread (Easter) will be distributed on Friday, April 17, 2020 and Saturday, April 18, 2020, between 08:00 and 00:00, and on the first day of Easter, between 06:00 and 12:00.
– The Sacred Light will be distributed on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 8:00 p.m.
Can I go to the cemetery during this period to perform Christian rituals?
No. This is allowed only in the case of funeral services / weddings / baptisms with a small number of people (maximum 8), situations regulated by military ordinances. Going to the cemetery for other reasons is not regulated and cannot be considered an emergency.
Can I visit my parents / friends and have Easter with them?
Travel is not allowed for visits without justified reasons (for example: point 2 – supply of goods that cover people’s basic needs or point 4 – justified reasons, such as assistance to the elderly, sick). We recommend that you simply bring them products for Easter food, if they cannot stock up, avoid close or direct contact and stay in touch by phone / internet.
Is it allowed to organize parties (in the family) in the patio of your own house, on the night of the Resurrection or on Easter Sunday?
If the party means only the participation of family members, those who normally live there, without inviting other people / relatives, yes, it is allowed. However, legal provisions must be observed regarding the maintenance of rest hours and without disturbing the public peace.
Can I take the children for a walk?
Yes, near the house, in groups of no more than 3 people. The release of the minor child will always be accompanied by the adult caregiver. It is forbidden to go to parks or playgrounds, where there is an increased risk of becoming infected.
Can I go buy lamb?
Yes, but:
– you must have your identity document and declaration at your own risk (point 2 – provide products that meet the basic needs of people)
– You must ensure that the economic agent is authorized, respects the hygiene conditions and can deliver the documents of origin, tax receipt, receipt or invoice.
Can the person I buy lamb every year and bring it home to me?
Yes, you can come, but you must have the necessary documents under the military ordinances.
Do the sheepherders come to the entrance of the city?
No. This is not allowed and does not happen in the current context.
Can I go to my parents to bring them Easter products?
Yes, but:
– you must have your identity document and the declaration at your own risk (point 4 – justified reasons, such as the assistance of the elderly and sick)
– avoid direct or close contact with the elderly to protect them (remember that infected people can be asymptomatic, but they can transmit the virus very easily, so they can become infected and infect others without knowing it) ”
