Education Minister Monica Anisie told Pro TV News that all Bucharest schools are preparing for the transition to the red stage, as the incidence of cases has already reached 2.82 and is increasing.

“At the level of Bucharest, indeed, we are preparing for the red scenario, if the rate of 3 per thousand is reached, as it is known. Therefore this week we asked the prefect of Bucharest to have a meeting to prepare for the red stage. The director of the Public Health Directorate also participated in that meeting, but at the same time inspectors from each sector of Bucharest also participated ”. – Anisie said for Pro TV News.

The Committee for Emergency Situations in Bucharest meets today at noon to discuss the request from various schools to go to the red stage.

Another 15 schools in the Capital have requested the suspension of physical courses and the transition to the red scenario, which involves courses exclusively online.

In total, 43 schools have requested the transition to the red dash, and 28 of them are already closed.

If the incidence of cases in Bucharest exceeds the threshold of 3 per 1,000 inhabitants, all schools will enter the red stage.
