INSP announced today that in the week of October 5-11, 35.4% of all cases were registered in Bucharest, Iasi, Bacau, Timis and Cluj.
In 31 counties and the municipality of Bucharest there is a cumulative incidence rate of more than 100 / 100,000 inhabitants, and 1 in 29 of all cases was registered with medical personnel.
In the Capital, in the last seven days 3,561 cases of COVID-19 and 398 deaths were registered. In total, since the outbreak of the pandemic, 22,950 cases have been detected in Bucharest.
In total, 27.6% of all deaths were recorded in Bucharest, Prahova, Alba, Arad and Olt. 81.6% of all deaths occurred in people over 60 years of age and 60.1% of deaths were in men. 95.4% of the deceased had at least one associated comorbidity.
