The room where the BES1 votes were stored was opened at the request of the president of the Electoral Office of Sector 1 and one report was drawn up each time, says the Bucharest Gendarmerie on Thursday, referring to the scandal of video images showing to people in the room where the votes were cast.

“The room where the electoral materials are kept was opened at the request of the president of the electoral office, each time, in this sense, the gendarme elaborating a report of excess delivery of the respective room. We specify that access to the respective room is allowed only with the consent of the president of the sectorial electoral office, and the seal is taken as protection after sealing ”, transmitted the General Directorate of Gendarmes of Bucharest.

According to the aforementioned statement, the activities carried out inside the room are not the responsibility of the Gendarmerie, provided that the authorized persons carry out activities related to the electoral process.

The room where the electoral materials are stored has a permanent protection post, according to the cited source, and access to that area is restricted as long as it is sealed and allowed only to those who have this right.

“The people who entered the building where the Electoral Table is located were legitimized and were not allowed access to the area, leaving the premises. No one entered the restricted area ”, also shows the DGJMB.

According to the cited source, outside the building several people recorded each other, with their mobile phones and had contradictory discussions, a fact for which the gendarmes took measures of public order in the area, reports Mediafax.

Images have appeared in the public space in which several people enter a room where it seems that votes are being cast and even leave with documents from the headquarters of the Electoral Bureau in Sector 1.

Under these conditions, the leader of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, demands the resumption of the vote and the resignation of the Minister of the Interior, Marcel Vela.
