The Municipal Electoral Table decided to admit the appeal against the decision of the electoral table of sector 5 to count the votes in sector 5 with 11 votes “in favor” and four “against.”
Thus, the appeal filed by Cristian Popescu Piedone and the owner of BES 5 was accepted. The new mayor of Sector 5 continues to be Piedone.
In turn, Clotilde Armand specified on Facebook on Sunday that the Municipal Electoral Board rejected the PSD resources, and in Sector 1 the elections will not be annulled and the votes will not be counted again. “The abject manipulation is over. I know you have a hard time believing that, but to this day I am officially the mayor of Sector 1,” added Armand.

(1) on. g) of Law no. 115/2015, with the subsequent modifications and terminations, at the meeting of the Central Electoral Office dated October 3, 2020, it was ordered by the Electoral Office of the Circumscription (that is, of the Municipality of Bucharest, comply with its attributions according to article 27 letter i) and art. 32 letter e) of Law No. 115/2015 with subsequent modifications and completions, with the application of the provisions of the Central Electoral Office Decision No. 98 / 15.09.2020 according to the specifications of Circular no. 3205 / 01.10.2020, until October 4, 2020, at 3:00 p.m.
We specify that, according to art. 25 par. (3) of Law no. 115/2015, in the performance of the powers of the electoral bureaus, its members exercise a function that involves the state authority. The correct and impartial exercise of this function is mandatory ”, it is shown at address no. 3386 of October 3, 2020 transmitted by the Central Electoral Office.
