The Minister of Labor, Violeta Alexandru, announced that she was confirmed with COVID-19. He is the third member of the Government infected by coronavirus, after Virgil Popescu and Lucian Bode.
Violet Alexandru: I have so much work to do (and I like what I do) that even with this positive covid test result, I will continue to work from home. I will be even more active and efficient, in the Ministry it also happens to me that I interrupt often because an emergency happens and if I am still there, I interrupt what I do and we solve it. Some of these emergencies (such is life in the Ministry of Labor) will now be taken over by the Ministry’s management team.

I have a little more peace in the next few days to go through all, absolutely all the evaluations and verifications that I have asked the institutions that I coordinate. I’ll be on the phone to get the results. I don’t give up until the last day of my term. I am and will remain active.
