The M5 metro line, Raul Doamnei – Eroilor Section, including the Valea Ialomitei station and depot, is fully financed with external non-reimbursable funds within POS-T 2007 – 2013, POIM 2014 – 2020 (85%) and charged to the state budget%). With the inauguration of this highway, the Capital reached 78 kilometers of network and 63 metro stations. Highway 5 is made up of three sections: Eroilor – Raul Doamnei, Eroilor – Iancului, respectively Iancului – Pantelimon.
