Jaroslav Haščák, co-founder of Penta Investments, was detained by Slovak police and charged with corruption and money laundering following a raid on Penta’s headquarters, reports ZF.

Dozens of police officers stormed Penta Investment headquarters in Bratislava on Tuesday, according to local media reports.

There are no statements yet from the Slovak police or Penta Investments.

Penta Investments owns the Fortuna bookmakers, and two years ago it bought Romania’s largest pharmaceutical group, ADPharma, which controls Sensiblu pharmacies.
