Mirel Rădoi also recalled the moments in which he cried for Steaua, in his football career, but also an episode in which he hid in the bathroom, so as not to be seen by his teammates.
It happened in 2007, after Steaua – Dinamo 2-4, in Ghencea, when he made a mistake in the 1-4 goal by Claudiu Niculescu.

And I did it for Steaua. Championship games, when we lost the championship. It was a game in which I was really wrong, with Dinamo, in Ghencea, 4-2, at Easter, when my teammates didn’t see me, I went to the bathroom and cried nervously. He was an emotional boy, he lived the moments with passion. After the game, I was downloading. The moments were different, we put on our boots, we cried or hit a window, a television in the locker room. The next day I came with a new one. Steaua – Dinamo 2-4 | Last title won by “dogs”
The Ghencea match referred to by Mirel Rădoi was played in April 2007 and marked the first victory for the “dogs” at Ghencea in 18 years.
