Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, available in Romania with AMD Ryzen processor

Republic of Gamers announces the local availability of the most powerful 14-inch gaming laptop – ROG Zephyrus G14. The new series is equipped with AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processors.

The first model to enter the Romanian market has superior configuration including Ryzen 9 4900HS processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 video card with 6GB GDDR6, 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, 1TB storage in M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD and WiFi 6.

The thermal system includes radiators, a network of five heat pipes (covering the processor, video accelerator, and VRM), dust-proof tunnels, and 81-blade n-Blade fans, tuned to optimize acoustics in very small rooms. .

The gaming laptop weighs just 1.6 kg, being as portable as possible in its performance category. Autonomy greater than 10 hours and the possibility of charging via USB-C recommends it for activities on the go. The Type-C port with USB Power Delivery is also capable of reproducing images on an external monitor through DisplayPort 1.4.

The housing is made of magnesium alloy, and the hand support area has honeycomb reinforcements for strength with minimal additional material. The convenience of working on the GA401 has also been enhanced by adopting the ErgoLift hinge, for the first time on a ROG laptop, which tilts the keyboard at a more convenient angle with the flip opening.

Zephyrus G14 is the first ROG laptop to integrate fingerprint authentication on the power button. A single press will turn on the laptop and cache the user’s fingerprint, saving it for transmission when Windows is ready for the authentication step. On multi-user laptops, the operating system automatically detects the individual account.

Zephyrus G14 (GA401) is for gamers and content creators. Therefore, it can be equipped with two types of screens: some FullHD with high refresh rates (up to 120 Hz) and others with high resolution (WQHD). Both panels include adaptive sync technology and Pantone validation.

The first Zephyrus G14 model to enter the Romanian market (GA401IV-HA037) has a superior configuration, which includes the Ryzen 9 4900HS processor with 8 cores, frequencies from 3 GHz to 4.4 GHz and 16 threads.

The model in question is equipped with a 14-inch matte screen with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) with 100% coverage of the sRGB spectrum. The panel is enhanced by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 video card with 6GB GDDR6 and ROG Boost to reach frequencies up to 1298 MHz at 65 W. This video accelerator is based on the latest NVIDIA Turing architecture, bringing together dedicated cores for rendering of programmable shadows, real-time ray tracing and artificial intelligence.

The laptop has a 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM capacity which can be expanded in this case to 24GB. The data is stored on a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD. Fast data transfer is facilitated by the integrated Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) 802.11ax connection. The configuration has a 76 Wh battery, with 4 lithium-ion cells, and the exterior of the case adopts the clean and professional Moonlight White style.

Configuration prices for GA401IV-HA037 start at approx. 8999 lei (taxes included). Later, in the second quarter of 2020, the most accessible models will also enter the Romanian market, with prices starting from 5999 lei (including taxes).
