Armageddon. A Bible expert announces that the end of the world is near. The role of Turkey

Armaghedon. The Holy Bible highlights a series of events that will take place before, during, and after the triumphant Second Coming of Jesus Christ. According to the Christian faith, the Son of God will return to establish a 1000-year kingdom on Earth.

The role of the Euphrates in Armageddon

Before this happens, the Bible warns that the Antichrist will rise first to deceive humanity and usurp power. At the second coming, a scriptural expert declared that Christ would destroy the armies of the antichrist. And he will kill the great deceiver in the final battle of good and evil: Armageddon. Leading up to these events, the Bible says that the Euphrates River will run dry.

The Euphrates is one of the longest and most important rivers in the world. It nurtured the cradle of Western Asian civilization. The river runs through Iraq, Syria and Turkey and, together with the Tigris River, defines the countries of Mesopotamia, which means “river country.”

The Euphrates is heading north to Israel, which, according to Professor Meyer, is the direction from which Israel’s historic enemies have attacked. Only Egypt is an exception.

To the west of the Holy Land, the Mediterranean Sea offers a natural barrier, and to the east there are miles of desert.

What is recorded in the book of Revelation

Professor Meyer said: “The prophecy that concerns us refers to the sixth of the seven house judgments recorded in the book of Revelation. This will take place shortly before the glorious second coming of Christ, when he kills the Antichrist and literally establishes 1,000 years of reign in Jerusalem (Revelation 16:12).

“According to Revelation, the great river Euphrates will literally run dry. Thus, the kings of the east can lead their armies to Jerusalem unhindered to participate in the great final battle against Jerusalem: Armageddon.

“The Ataturk Dam can be closed. Therefore, the river can dry up downstream allowing the armies of the Antichrist to attack the Holy Land from the north.”

Involuntarily, Turkey may fulfill the prophecy

In 1990, for example, Turkey blocked the Euphrates to fill the Lake Ataturk dam, an artificial reservoir.

“Technology, already in place to stop the flow of the Euphrates River, could be another piece of the puzzle. This can make the fulfillment of the book of Revelation in our lives a terrifying prospect.

Of course, before these apocalyptic events take place on the world stage, Christians will be “kidnapped.” Or suddenly taken to heaven by Christ himself to escape the terrible divine judgment to come.

Professor Meyer is a Bible expert, also known as the Memory Bible Man, after memorizing more than 20 books of the Bible, Express.co.uk notes.
