In the context in which the world wants to relax, we have a third locality, after Suceava and Țăndărei, which is totally quarantined.

This time, Râmnicelu, from Buzău County, where law enforcement officers surrounded the village from dawn on Saturday, starting at 4 in the morning.

Seven residents, relatives of one another, were confirmed with Covid-19, but those who came into contact with them repeatedly rejected the investigation and epidemiological evidence.

The outbreak in Râmnicelu began, authorities say, from a 30-year-old man, positively confirmed, after he underwent his medical examinations at the Focșani Hospital, outbreak of Covid-19. That’s where it is believed to have contracted the virus.

Then the man came home, where he came into contact with six family members. It infected everyone.

Contacts refused to cooperate

As stipulated in the protocols, an epidemiological investigation should have been carried out, which inspectors from the Buzau Directorate of Public Health attempted to do.

However, it was not successful because the people who came into contact with the seven confirmed positives each time categorically refused to cooperate in the investigation and take the test.

Therefore, the county prefect requested quarantine of the entire village.

Leonard Dimian, the Prefect of Buzau County: “The proposal was approved. We will analyze the situation in the quarantined area daily and apply all necessary measures to protect the health of the population and guarantee the necessary measures for the inhabitants of the village.

3,000 people, living in Râmnicelu, are surrounded by the police and forced to bear the consequences of those who did not respect the law. Now nobody enters or leaves the town.

cop: I recommend that you ignore the commune of Râmnicelu, it is quarantined, go to Puiești, the commune of Macrina and Balta Albă. Where are you going
driver: Balta Albă.
cop: Unfortunately, you cannot transit the Râmnicelu area, it is in quarantine. ”

The inhabitants are merchants who travel throughout the country.

Since he could not keep people in the houses, the mayor of the town asked for isolation the other day.

Sorin Cîrjă, the mayor of Râmnicelu: “They are merchants. Virtually all markets in the area and in the country are targets of these merchants. It is an activity that involves this movement, but we must stop them here.

Meanwhile, the seven Râmnicelu people positively confirmed with SARS VOC 2 were hospitalized at the Râmnicu Sărat Hospital.
