Police are investigating a new possible murder, after several bone fragments, which appear to be human, were discovered abandoned in a field in Bragadiru, Ilfov county. They were found under a pair of jeans and sneakers.
Not far from this place other goods were found: a backpack, a hat, a pair of glasses and a mobile phone. The bones were sent in search of experts, and in the meantime Ilfov police, coordinated by prosecutors from the Cornetu Court, are trying to find out who the perpetrator is.
The news comes as public opinion is shaken by the horrible crime discovered on Friday night, some 40 kilometers from Bucharest, near the town of Ghimpați, Ilfov county. A young woman was brutally murdered and then stuffed into a suitcase that caught fire on the side of a road. A truck driver passing through Friday night saw the flames, thought it was a vegetation fire, and stopped to put out the fire with the extinguisher, only to find that he had actually burned a corpse almost completely. The victim has not been identified yet.
