Schools and kindergartens will be closed until January 11, 2021. Education officials say schools will open if the number of infections decreases. The decision to open the schools belongs to the Committee for Emergency Situations, reports Mediafax.
“The decision on the opening of educational institutions is made by the National Committee, which analyzes the epidemiological situation at that time. Ultimately, nothing will change if the number of Covid-19 cases does not decrease,” said Jean Badea, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Education.
According to Mediafax sources, if students gradually return to school, the three known scenarios remain in force: red, green and yellow. The Ministry of Education did not communicate other options.

“Depending on the epidemiological situation, the National Committee for Emergency Situations will decide to return to school in physical format. We call on students, teachers, parents, to comply with health protection measures, to have more careful, especially as the winter holidays approach, ”said Cristian Tănase, spokesman for the Ministry of Education and Research.
In other European countries, decisions are not made overnight, and students clearly know whether or not to return to the banks after the New Year.

Sweden has announced that it has no plans to postpone the resumption of normal school after 6 January. France is another country that has struggled to keep schools open, despite the epidemiological situation. Eventually, the high schools came online, but if the number of cases falls below 5,000 a day, school activity will resume on January 20.
