Businessman Ionel Turturica died a month after becoming infected with coronavirus. He was 63 years old and had been in intensive care for several days, in serious condition. It was the family who announced the tragic event on a social network.

Two years ago, Ionel Turturică had been treated for prostate cancer, without metastasis. His condition, before being diagnosed with COVID-19, say relatives, was very good, not requiring cancer treatment. Ionel Turturică was the owner of AGI Construct SRL and in the past he was among the financiers of the Gloria Buzău football team. He was an elder from the Adventist Church on Mioriţei Street in Buzău.
