The letter is signed by 14 of the 100 detainees who worked in the 1950s to renovate the casino after the bombings that took place during World War II. The message was written on a torn piece of paper in a cement bag.

This casino has been operated by political prisoners since 1951, on December 31, run by architect Joja Constantin.
