About 146,000 people were scheduled on the last day for the serum COVID vaccination produced by Pfizer / BioNTech. The appointments resumed on Saturday, with 156,000 seats available, and as of 1 p.m. Sunday, there were still seats in just 17 counties.

According to data provided by the Vaccination Steering Committee, 145,981 people had been scheduled to be vaccinated with Pfizer serum at 1 p.m.

On Sunday, at 1:00 p.m., there were still places available for vaccination in only 17 regions:

  • Botoșani, Buzău, Caras-Severin,
  • Covasna, Dolj, Gorj, Harghita,
  • Ialomița, Iași, Ilfov,
  • Maramureș, Mehedinți, Neamț,
  • Satu Mare, Suceava, Teleorman and Vrancea.

As of Monday, March 1, 130 new offices became operational for immunization with the vaccine produced by Pfizer / BioNTech. The vaccination capacity of each office is 60 people per day, announced the CNCAV. We remind you that at this stage people with chronic diseases, people over 65 and people with disabilities can be vaccinated.

According to the CNCAV, the vaccination of teachers continues nationwide, until March 10. Likewise, the vaccination of non-displaced people, who are on dialysis, residential centers, medical-social and homeless people continues. In parallel, the programming of people enrolled in the immunization process with the vaccine produced by the Oxford / AstraZeneca company continues.

Since the start of the vaccination campaign in Romania, on December 27, and until Saturday, February 27, more than 905,000 people were vaccinated, according to data transmitted by the Vaccination Steering Committee.

So far, Romania has received 2,152,949 doses of the COVID vaccine.

Breakdown, the situation is as follows:

  • Pfizer: 1,509,749 doses of vaccines received
  • Modern: 157,200
  • AstraZeneca: 486,000
