Employees who self-register through the Internet, in the 2021 census, have the right to a day off, paid for by the employer, in accordance with emergency ordinance No. 19 of February 4, 2020.
EMERGENCY ORDINANCE no. The 19 of February 4, 2020 on the organization and conduct of the population and housing census in Romania in 2021 establishes that employees who register themselves through the Internet have the right to a paid day off, to promote the of this method. The online self-assessment test is performed by submitting the code that confirms the successful completion of the self-assessment, according to the official document.
Thus, the employers of the people who certify the online self-assessment have the obligation to give them the day off. The paid day off is granted within a maximum period of 12 months from the date of satisfactory completion of the self-assessment.
The functional IT solution at the census site automatically generates the confirmation code to successfully complete the self-census for each individual form successfully submitted to the RPL2021 census database.
During July-November 2021, the population and housing review is carried out, in stages.
The paid day off is granted to the employee, regardless of whether he performed the online self-assessment for himself and other household members, or for other people.
Between August and September 2021, the online collection of individual records and those related to homes, dwellings and buildings is carried out – online self-assessment.
