Surprise appointment for the Government: Alexandru Cumpănaşu, consultant on European funds. Liberals blame “bureaucratic error”
The National Coalition for the Modernization of Romania, led by Alexandru Cumpănaşu, will advise the Ministry of European Funds on the implementation and implementation of programs in the future budget of the European Union (2021-2027).
Specifically, the organization led by the former presidential candidate was included in the Business Environment Association Committee. The decision was signed by Prime Minister Ludovic Orban and published in the Official Gazette.
Alexandru Cumpănaşu was indicted by DNA, late last year, precisely for providing false data in a European-funded project carried out by the National School for Administrative and Political Studies (SNSPA).
Government sources told MEDIAFAX that they plan to change the Cumpănaşu organization from the advisory body of the Ministry of European Funds. Liberals blame “bureaucratic error”.
