The leader of the group of pimps was the feared thief Adrian Tâmplaru.
He took over the business of Ion Clămparu, sentenced in Spain to 30 years in prison for human trafficking.
Tâmplaru managed to gather around him extremely violent people, some of them close to Clămparu.
Among Tâmplaru’s “helpers” was the controversial Alex Bodi, who is also fine with him. Bodi joined the network in 2014, when he brought the first girl he forced into prostitution to Germany.
Alex Bodi is accused by prosecutors of sexually exploiting several young women in Germany. They sent him money in the country, which he earned in clubs abroad.
In the file there are testimonies about the torments to which the girls were subjected. Furthermore, in Germany there were many street conflicts between the members of the group in Romania and the pimps there, because the Romanians had spread too much.
Prosecutors speak of Alex Bodi as a monster. I say that he had scared all the girls he had on the street. He beat them, tortured them, drugged some, and threatened that families left behind in the country would suffer if they did not prostitute themselves for him.
Several victims were brutally beaten in Romanian hospitals, but no one did anything for them at the time.
Everything came to light only now when one of the victims decided to speak and give details about how the network operated.
The victim is none other than Alex Bodi’s ex-wife before Bianca Drăguşanu, Silvia Iulia Sălăgean.
Prosecutors say the girl practiced prostitution in Germany in 2014-2016, in Frankfurt and Berlin, in clubs like FKK (Freikrperkultur), legal private saunas where generous gentlemen are pampered with sexual services.
The victim gave details about the amounts of money he was sending to Alex Bodi, including the bank accounts in which the money was placed. (from the dates of: 01.16.2015 – the amount of 300 euros, 01.26.2015 – the amount of 500 euros and 29.01.2015 – the amount of 300 euros)
Other information from the prosecution report:
-from the content of the investigation report prepared by the workers of BCCO Craiova on 11.10.2020, it can be deduced that, on 11.26.2017, BAN was sighted on the highway A3, in Germany, in the direction of Passau. He was later identified in the red zone for prostitution. It was also established that the so-called XXX, on 05.17.2019, offered paid sexual services at the address located in Germany, respectively, possessed a work permit for escort services, issued by the city of Landshut.
– the report on the situation of financial transfers, which shows that, between 23.10.2014 and 19.01.2016, BAN was the beneficiary of various sums of money obtained from XXX for the practice of prostitution in Germany (Frankfurt); between 16.01.2015 and 29.01.2015, BAN benefited from various sums of money obtained from XXX for the practice of prostitution in Germany (Hamburg); on 01/16/2014, BAN acquired the amount of 800 euros at XXX, for exercising prostitution;
-from the exploitation of the mandate ….. data resulted that BAN was involved in the criminal activity of human trafficking and pimping (arguing with XXX about prostitution activity, reproaching him for not making enough money. The victim told him that it is mentally affected by his behavior, BAN charged XXX “protection fees” – who, together with the group leader, had expelled him from Frankfurt, where he carried out certain activities – for TCA).
– Between August 2008 and February 2012, the defendants TCA, BMC, CAI, NAA formed a criminal group (coordinated by TCA) for the purpose of committing crimes of trafficking in persons, trafficking in minors and pimping. Also joining the group were defendants BAN, JFA, GPA, CM, LMA, LND, B (F) FE, FLF, GMA, IGM, PFI, TAI;
– in 2009, taking advantage of her state of obvious vulnerability (family problems, naivety, precarious financial situation), the defendant BMC recruited the injured person XXX and then, in autumn 2014, transported her to Germany (Kassel, Bonn and Berlin), He took her in and forced her to prostitute herself for his benefit (up to and including 2015).
– From witness XXX’s statement it can be inferred that the monetary transfers he made to the BAN (from the dates of: 01.16.2015 – the amount of 300 euros, 01.26.2015 – the amount of 500 euros and 01.29.2015 – the amount of 300 euros) I am from Hamburg-Germany, where I practice prostitution.
– Victim XXX’s statement shows that, in the period 2014-2016, she practiced prostitution in Germany, in Frankfurt and Berlin, in cluB. of the FKK type, where she arrived through BAN, her ex-husband.
The reasons for the preventive detention of Alex Bodi and other suspects were asked
-large sums of money obtained by those accused of the sexual exploitation of the victims; the form and consequences of the commission of the facts – recruitment of victims deceiving and speculating on their vulnerability, extreme aggression of the accused; the cross-border nature of the crime; exposure of victims of a state of permanent danger, generated by the placement in foreign countries; the long period of the criminal activity; the current danger of sexually exploiting other young women; coercing certain people to pay “protection rights” to the criminal group in exchange for obtaining permission to carry out certain activities (in the case of the defendants BAN, JFA); the scope of the criminal activity: large number of criminal group members and victims, wide range of criminal group, most of the members under the attention of the German authorities (as can be seen from responses to requests for legal aid); the importance of damaged social values;
