The government has a government meeting scheduled for tomorrow in which it will extend the alert by 30 days but relax some restrictions. Prime Minister Ludovic Orban announced the procedure on Sunday during an event in Calarasi.

“We will have the National Committee for Emergency Situations on Monday, at 11:00 a.m., at 12:00 a.m. we call a government meeting and we will make decisions. At the moment, we have agreed – we have had several requests – to allow the resumption of public meetings, demonstrations. Of course, he was in favor of the idea of ​​allowing public meetings, demonstrations, of course, under the conditions of health protection that are established for other events. (…) Most likely, to the extent that it is now allowed in electoral assemblies: 100 people outdoors, with physical distance, with the obligation to wear a mask. I do not want to censor or for anyone to comment that we are censoring the right of people to protest, the right of people to demonstrate in public assemblies, but we will make sure that the health protection rules are respected, ”Orban said.
