Finance Minister Florin Cîţu asked the attorney general on Wednesday to investigate all statements made by the PSD leadership since the beginning of the state of emergency, considering that they instigated disobedience and undermined state authority and brought huge costs to the economy , according to News.ro.

I request the Attorney General’s Office to investigate all the statements made by the PSD leadership from the beginning of the declaration of the state of emergency until today. These statements instigated disobedience and undermined the authority of the state and brought huge costs to the economy! Cîţu said.
The Minister referred to the statements made by the PSD leadership regarding the money allocated to Health.
“In 2020, the money allocated to Health represents 33 percent of GDP, it is the highest amount allocated to this chapter from 2014 to the present,” Cîţu also stated.
He specified that the purpose of the budget correction is that health, social assistance, education have the necessary money by the end of this year.
“We are making the budget rectification to ensure that health, social assistance, education have the necessary money by the end of this year. The rectification also has the function of providing financing for the continuation of the investments, which this year are estimated at 55 billion lei, the highest amount invested from the state budget in the last 10 years. After 10 years, investments are at 35.4 billion lei, more than what was invested in all of 2016, 2017 or even 2018 “, said the Minister of Finance, specifying that for the budget rectification a decrease in the economy of 4.2 percentage points.
