A 39-year-old man from Buftea, Ilfov County, admitted that he killed the local woman, discovered Sunday night, in her yard, with her tongue cut out.
The man was arrested and will be taken to court with a proposal for preventive detention, according to sources close to the investigation.
Investigations in this case are ongoing and motives for the crime will be determined.
An elderly woman from Buftea was discovered in the courtyard of her house, with her tongue cut out, on Sunday night. When they found her, the woman was still alive and the last word she spoke was “thieves.” However, nothing disappeared from his home.
A neighbor was the one who called 112 and announced that he saw the woman who had fallen in the yard. It was also he who said he heard her scream “thieves”.
By the time the task force arrived on the scene, the woman was dead. The old woman had no visible signs of violence on her body, but she had severe bleeding from her mouth, her tongue being cut off.
Her son is the one who told the police that nothing disappeared from the house.
