A woman fell from a rock 80 meters deep after trying to take a photo of a mountain view in Australia. The area was littered with warning signs and was known to be dangerous, but these things didn’t matter to the tourist looking for the perfect photo, reports CNN.

Rosy Loomba, 38, was on vacation with her husband and son in the Grampians National Park in Victoria, Australia. The family was in the Boroka lookout, a steep area on a rock from which you can see, panoramic, the surrounding mountains and the village below.

Police investigating the case say the woman climbed past security barriers and ignored warning signs to take a photo on the rock. While taking her photo, the woman tripped over the steep cliff and fell empty more than 80 meters.

Eyewitnesses say they heard the woman screaming but could do nothing to save her. Police and emergency teams managed to recover the woman’s body after 6 hours of climbing the steep rock.

Boroka Lookout is a popular spot for photographers and tourists, and searches on Instagram or other social media show other tourists who have risked and are risking their lives in terror and trying to get the perfect selfie. Some of them are filmed with their backs to the edge of the cliff.
