A teacher from Râmnicu Vâlcea has been suspended and is about to be excluded from education. The school’s administration has amassed a long list of charges, from shoplifting to gambling addiction. Parents say the teacher borrowed money from them that he lost in the gambling rooms. The situation is not new, but only now have complaints been filed.
Several images appeared on social media of a woman stealing a toy from a shopping center in the center of Râmnicu Vâlcea.
The woman was recognized. She is a fourth grade teacher. After this incident, the children’s parents began to complain. They blamed her for her behavior with the children and some told the director that they had loaned her at least 2,000 euros, money that they discovered she would have lost playing.

School representatives have known for 4 years that women are addicted to gambling. He was also on the disciplinary committee four times, for other reasons: absences from class, inappropriate language for students and theft of money from the auxiliary textbook fund. The money was returned by the teacher’s husband, who has so far only received financial penalties.
Ion Gheorghinaru, director of School No. 13: “Neither parent had the courage to come and file a complaint saying what was happening. And under these conditions, with just words we couldn’t even do an investigation or take strong enough disciplinary action. The result will clearly be the termination of the employment contract with articles that will never honor him ”.
Called by Digi24 reporters, the teacher did not want to respond to the accusations.
The school’s disciplinary committee must make a decision in this case next week.
