Dr. Iosif Koszeghi had turned 71 on October 30. He was president of the Neamț College of Physicians for various terms, beginning in 2003 and throughout his career he was the chief physician of the Department of General Surgery at Piatra-Neamț. Born in Oradea, after graduation, he worked at Bicaz Hospital and since 1984 is a surgeon at Neamț County Hospital. According to his colleagues, he was a doctor highly appreciated by the thousands of patients he operated on and considered a good diplomat.
