Vasile Panțîru, interview in DC News

DC News: Are you a faithful man? What is it like to put yourself in the shoes of a priest who doesn’t even honor his “guild”?

I am a man of faith, I believe in God, I go to church to share and confess, every year. I visit monasteries, when I have the opportunity, I really like to go to pray there, to me. adunWhen I enter a holy place

It was me difficult At the beginning, when I was offered the chance to play the role of the priest Vasile, in the series “Moldavos”, because I imagined that this role could upset certain people, few in number, which is true. But the priest Vasile represents a typology, which together with the team of “Moldovans” we give life.

I received a lot of positive reactions related to the role of priest Vasile, from the comedy series “Moldavos”, people told me that the role suits me perfectly. And I was even congratulated by certain priests, with grace, as I consider myself, who know me. Priest Vasile is a character that I try to delineate in front of people as best I can. With all the flaws and sins that, as I said, we emphasize, he is a cute character.

DC News: It took you 56 years to make your acting debut, but when you did, you did it big: straight into a show that proved to be very successful and on television with a large audience. How has this change been for you?

Yes, I am already 57 years old and I never thought I would get here, and I could be an actor. However, I do not consider that I can call myself an actor, after only two seasons played in the comedy series “Moldova”. I am very honored, happy and happy to have met the family. <3chestii>, a group of talented young people who accepted, supported and trusted me, even though there is a huge age difference between them and me. I feel very honored to collaborate with Kanal D television, in the “Moldavos” project, because here I met good people, with experience, perfect professionals. I am happy to be part of this team.

DC News: Have you ever wanted or imagined being an actor? Or was it simply fate to get here?

I never thought about being an actor, it was just that .

DC News: What did you find the most difficult since you entered the acting world?

The most difficult thing for me is when I give an interview or participate in a show, because the emotions are much greater than when I put myself in the shoes of my character, the priest Vasile.

DC News: What do you do when we don’t see you in “Moldova”? What is your favorite thing to do?

Apart from the service I have since 1982, I work as a member of the CFR, I really like mixing music, in different events in which I participate in my free time. This is how I feel and I feel very relaxed when I see people having fun and feeling good. The pandemic has “slowed down” events, but I hope things will return to normal at some point.
