A pimp was abducted from his home by a Bihor policeman, put in the trunk and investigated naked in a field. The file is still in Instrumentation Freedom

The case began with a robbery, at the end of 2018, when thieves left a spontaneous businessman without money or property. Among the police officers on the investigation team was agent Marius Ioan Laza, a friend of the businessman’s son-in-law and nephew.

On January 2, the three decided to catch the thieves by their method. Laza and the two “descended” to the house of the individual they suspected of having given the “tip” to the thieves: Hanyecz Attila, a human trafficker, finally sentenced last week to 5 years in prison, after In the spring, he would have tried to “Sell” his sister-in-law, for 400 euros, to an undercover investigator as a pimp.

Hanyecz did not receive them at the house, but the “brigade” broke down his door. Laza and his companions immobilized him and put him in the trunk of the car, which then took him to the outskirts of the city. Asked about accomplices and stolen money, Hanyecz refused to speak, forcing him to strip naked. The man escaped running across the field, in his boxers and barefoot.

At Bihoreanul’s request, Chief Prosecutor Alin Leucea sent a report according to which the case is still under investigation and the investigation “almost concluded”.

A disciplinary investigation was also launched against the police officer. Because he came to work smelling of alcohol, the bosses made him breathe on the breathalyzer test, which indicated a blood alcohol level of 0.54 per thousand in expired air.

Subject to disciplinary investigation on January 31, 2019, Laza was dismissed by order of the Bihor Police Chief, justified by the fact that the subordinate was not on the first offense, adding three other disciplinary sanctions.

The agent challenged the penalty in court, claiming that he drank in his free time, that he was only 40 minutes late, and that he did not endanger the activity of the institution. Both the Bihor Court and the Court of Appeal ruled in their favor, the judges who ordered, through a final verdict pronounced this year on July 27, the nullification of the dismissal sanction and the application of a lighter sanction, namely, that of reducing salary by 20% for a period of 3 months.

At least until the prosecutors and then the judges give a final verdict in the case in which he is accused of illegally depriving Marius Laza of his freedom, he remains in the Police.
