Romania will benefit from another stadium with European standards.
Timisoara Mayor Nicolae Robu announced that he has taken the first steps to build a new soccer stadium in the city.
In addition to the 32,000-seat arena to be built on the site of the current ‘Dan Paltinisanu’, Nicolae Robu announced that a 15,000-seat football stadium will be built, in the UEFA 4 category. The new arena will be located at Calea Buziasului .
In addition, the stadium will be built using ‘lego’ technology, which allows the construction to be completed in a significantly shorter time.
“Hold on tight! I’m telling you something that I haven’t intentionally talked about until now, not because I missed it. We have a contract signed after a bid for the feasibility study, for the construction of a stadium in the metal structure of Calea Buziasului street. It is a different project than what will be a rugby stadium, but about which I said that other sports will do, because we are very bad in terms of stadiums “Nicolae Robu announced, according to liga2.prosport.ro.
The stadium will be ready in 2021.
The 15,000 seat arena should be ready by August 2021 and will meet European standards:
“It will be a modern infrastructure for TV broadcasts, there will be places for which, but also positions to take photos with mobile cameras.
We receive the contract signed by the winner, we still need small procedures. We understand how soon, it is a matter of days, perhaps next week at the latest, the order will be given to start the work. I hope it will be completed by 2021. After the feasibility study is ready, we’ll see what the designer will tell you. According to the information I have, the construction goes much faster than the classic one “said the mayor of Timisoara.
