After the tragedy in Piatra Neamț, a new fire broke out at the CFR hospital in Cluj-Napoca during the morning, reports Monitorul Cluj. According to the first information provided by ISU Cluj, the fire started due to a short circuit in a luminaire produced in a toilet on the 1st floor of the hospital.

The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire within minutes, being forced to evacuate three patients.

Around 7:00 am ISU Cluj was alerted to intervene in a fire caused by an electrical short in a light fixture in a bathroom on the first floor of the CFR hospital in Cluj-Napoca.

Firefighters from Detachment 1 in Cluj-Napoca intervened with five cars, putting out the fire, so it was not necessary to evacuate other patients, Mediafax also writes.

Last Saturday, a fire broke out in the ATI section of the Piatra Neamţ county hospital. Ten of the patients admitted to Covid for intensive care died that night.
