A new chain of stores enters the Romanian market with force

From the end of November, Doraly Expo Market will host a new cash & carry store brand, called Noi, which will completely occupy the newest pavilion in the retail park, completed after an investment of 6 million euros.

The new cash & carry store covers an area of ​​9,200 square meters and belongs to the DCN EU Retail company, founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs Viorel Ion, Laurenţiu Gheorghe Moldoveanu and Ilie Stănescu.

The company already operates two cash & carry stores under the same brand, DCN Eu Cash & Carry, at Doraly Expo Market. According to data from the Ministry of Finance, the company reported in 2019 a business of 300 million lei (60 million euros) and a net profit of 19.6 million lei (4 million euros).

Following this opening, Doraly reaches a profitable business area of ​​approx. 95,000 m2, developed on a plot of approx. 280,000 mp.

With the opening of the “Noi” store, the share of the cash & carry segment increased to 50% of the commercial area of ​​the commercial park, with the rest of the area occupied by wholesale and retail stores, warehouses and offices.
