A girl and a boy, both 3 years old, are hospitalized in Intensive Care, in the Pediatric Hospital of Sibiu, with COVID-19, their condition being stable. Doctors say the two children came to the hospital due to their illnesses and thus the coronavirus was detected, according to Mediafax.

Dr Ioana Mătăcuță, spokeswoman for Sibiu Children’s Hospital, stated that the two children, a girl and a boy, both 3 years old, have comorbidities.

Children are stable from the hemodynamic and respiratory point of view, and the evolution from the point of view of the infection is stationary, but hospitalization in ATI is necessary due to comorbidities.

The director of the Sibiu Children’s Hospital, Dr. Ciprian Șofariu, stated that the two children were transferred to the hospital for current illnesses, and their coronavirus was also detected here.

The Sibiu Pediatric Clinical Hospital is one of the few children’s hospitals in the country, dedicated to severe cases of COVID-19.
