A 67-year-old driver who was driving under the influence and involved in a four-car accident on DN 1B died at the police station before being heard, the County Police Inspectorate announced Friday night. Prahova Police (IJP), reports Agerpres.
According to the cited source, the accident occurred on Thursday, in DN 1B, in the Valea Călugărească commune, after tests, establishing that the man had a blood alcohol level of 1.17 mg / l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.
After the accident, the 67-year-old driver was taken to hospital, being discharged the same day.
„On March 4 of this year, around 7:00 p.m., after being discharged from the medical unit, the 67-year-old man was transferred to the Police Headquarters for questioning, along with the other drivers involved in the accident. in DN 1B during the day. At the headquarters of the police station, around 9:00 p.m., before being heard, the man was injured, for which the police requested the presence of a medical team. The medical teams that arrived at the scene carried out unsuccessful resuscitation maneuvers, and the man was declared dead, ”reports IJP.
The body was transported to the Prahova Forensic Medicine Service for an autopsy.
