According to prosecutors, the group coordinated by Bejusca and Sirbu also included 12 people: today’s protester, Mihai Ioan Lasca, Alin Ojog, Sebastian Fota (now Bilaniuc), Adrian Belean, Andrei Gabor, Viorel Brisc, Koteles Robert, Lucian Gafencu , Kosorinsky Roman, Sorin Sasu, Valentin Leho and Gheorghe Zlibut.

DIICOT claimed that, starting in 2012, group members installed skimming equipment in ATMs in Romania, but also in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Germany. The fake cards were put into circulation both in Romania and in other European Union countries, in various luxury stores, where individuals bought electronic products, perfumes, jewelry, clothing, watches and other goods. in total value greater than 300,000 euros. “Luxury products were capitalized in the European Union or sent in Romania to other people who sold them. The money obtained from the capitalization of products abroad was sent to the country and distributed among the group members, depending on the role of each, “said a statement. of prosecutors.

In 2013, Lasca had even been arrested following searches made by Organized Crime police in the investigation that later pointed to a profiled network on cybercrime and forgery.

Sentenced to two years in prison with suspension

In another criminal case, Lasca was sentenced last month to 2 years in prison, with suspension, for beating a man who was related to his ex-girlfriend. By the same decision, he was forced to carry out unpaid work for the benefit of the community within the Oradea City Council or the Bihor General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection, for a period of 120 days. Lasca appealed. According to the Bihoreanul publication, Lasca “allegedly followed her ex-partner’s boyfriend in traffic and blocked him in the middle of the road, where he hit him.”
